Merry Christmas – The Birth of Jesus Christ

Born this day 2017 years ago

A Divine Child for salvation

of the land beyond the East.

With love the king of passions

The saviour sought to uplift

the West’s hordes, passionate

But punished,  body punctured

by nails and thorns, Jesus left

all a memory of his love divine.

Let’s celebrate Jesus’ love today

Discarding divisive sentiments

of Westerners who have lorded

Over the world using His name

to colonialise and rob the East.
