Tadasana (Palm Tree)

TADASANA (Palm Tree)

It’s a staple pose for beginners and beyond. Very down to earth pose that develops physical strength and creates balance and stability.

This variation consists of 2 different poses in 1. What is illustrated here is the combination of another asana VRKSHASANA (Tree Pose) to be featured next week.

Moving into TADASANA – Stand straight, look forward.
Inhale – Raise both arms up. Interlock fingers – palms facing upwards. Hold the pose for 5 counts.
Exhale – Unlock fingers and arms down to standing pose. Performing this combined posture helps strengthen the spine, back, shoulder and knees.

Benefits: Improves posture, relieves shoulder joint and back pain. Improves focus and spine flexibility
