Maldivian Moringa – Sun Basking Super Food
The Maldivian moringa
I’m a happy plant
The sea, sun rays on my face
I’m the peppy type
Island life goes on in a lively pace
The moringa, dressed in red
A green in a festive phase
Each land her steps tread
Is blessed by sky blue waves
The superfood, self sustains
Her soft plumes glow green
With nutrients she maintains
Her calm, demeanour so serene
Little she knows the world
Just a little past paradise
Little she sees of the cold
blooded way Man self destroys
Ships sail, planes flail
To reach her verdant shores
Enemies seek the parallel
world the moringa shares
In peace, with every living shell
Trouble awaits paradise
Yet the moringa keeps her calm
Storms, Man and his murders
Strengthen her hold over her realm
Ignorance is not what gives her bliss
An Earthlier protection is what does
