Introduction to Vedic Mathematics

Vedic Maths Teacher M. Selvaraju from Kulim, Kedah was invited last week (25.2.17) to give a 3-hour lecture on Magic Maths for 150 PT3 (Form 3) students at SMK. Vivekananda, Brickfields in Kuala Lumpur organised by the Sri Murugan Centre.

Participating students learnt about the workings of the brain first.

They were also taught how the brain learns, how to boost focus and how to think out of the box in solving problems and much more.

And the most amazing thing to share here is that participating  students were able to calculate the cube root of 941,192 mentally using a Vedic Mathematic method without any tools.

The students became excited and passionate over the study of Maths shedding their phobia of the subject after learning the creative methods of doing Maths using Vedic Mathematics.

Parents were also happy to see their beloved children highly motivated and inspired to explore and excel in Maths.
