Enter The World Of Bhakta Hanuman

Entrance to the newly built Sri Hanuman temple in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

Lost For Words.

I finally got the opportunity to visit the recently opened Sree Veera Hanuman temple at Scott Road, Brickfields today.

The temple that originated as a small temple situated at the location of the KL Sentral monorail station was shifted to the current spot more than 20 years ago. The temple had always been a crowd puller since its early days as Hanuman is a highly popular deity among followers of Sanatana Dharma.

However since the new temple’s Kumbabhishekam (consecration) on Jan. 26 this year, huge crowds of devotees congregate there daily.

The sight that met my eyes at the temple simply made me speechless. Every inch of the temple was brimming with immaculate artwork that truly captured my imagination transporting me into a magical world filled with magnanimous glory of our beloved Hanuman.

I felt as if I was in the midst of Kishkindha the kingdom of Vanaras where Lord Ramachandra and Lakshmana stayed before leading King Sugriva’s army to battle Ravana in Langka and rescue Seetha Devi.

Make sure you visit this fabulous temple to enter the world of Sri Veera Hanuman and immerse in meditation on the glorious pastimes of the Mahabhakta of Lord Seetharama when in Kuala Lumpur. I am sure you will enjoy every moment of your visit and receive the divine blessings of Sree Veera Hanuman.
