PASCHIMOTTANASANA (Back Stretch Pose)
A powerful asana that has the potential to bring about many benefits with regular practice.
Seated in DANDASANA position stretch legs straight out in front. Inhale – and raise up arms aligned with the ears.
Exhale – bend foward, while extending the spinal column, engage the entire back and hold the foot or the big toe.
Hold steady the position on normal breathing. Inhale – gently come up to DANDASANA.
Benefits
Rejuvenates spine and removes excess fat around abdominal region. Tones hamstring muscles and also the hip joints. Stimulates the liver, kidneys, ovaries, and uterus. Cures diseases.
