A Full Moon Moment Lost

Salutations Dear Lord Chandra

Unmoving my thoughts before Thee

Allowing Thy inspiration to fill

The jug of my imagination ……

So beauteous the heavenly display

Of these past hours for this poet

To relish and wonder at providence

At sunset Thy benefactor’s showing

Now in Thy approaching fullness

Colouring the blue yonder golden

Whitening the cloud specks, streaks

O Lord, still missing the beloved

Such beauty has yet not attracted her

Leaving this poet to sigh in the loss

Of another lovers’ moment wondrous

Unconsummated in loving union

All glories, all glories, all glories

Dear Lord Chandra bright.
