There is no one like you in this world.
Everyone seems to know their way.
While you stand and stammer to live your life..
I hear some people say..
The world is not a bounce house.
And people are not teddy bears.
Not everything is magic.
Not everything falls in place.
They say not every mistake can be forgiven..
In the wombs of memory it may stay.
And truth doesn’t always get the warmth it yearns..
For the ear that beholds it tells its tale.
They say your life is not a dream..
And your dream is not a sure reality.
They say you’re naive.. too happy to face..
The world you’ve never known.
