O ! My Lord Bala Gopal !

May I be blessed to be free from my scarriest prison house on Thy Holy Janmashtami !

Not entangled in the web of false ego by Thy liberating Grace and Divinity!

Free from my ‘Kamsic’ shackles of anger, lust, greed, and envy of lifetimes of worldly bondage,

Free from the prison house of birth, death disease and old age!

May Thy beautiful form appear in my heart to set me free,

Beyond my prison walls of darkness that binds me. to see;

Thy dazzling form to Mother Devaki and sweetest darling for Yasoda Maa to kiss..kiss..and only kiss to drown in bliss —

The channel today by which Thy perennial source of Love and light to the world expresses —

Is the brightness of Thy effulgence to break the fearsome walls of my darkness —

Radiating only Vrindavane’s and Gokula’s eternal love, peace and
bliss !
